The East Ridge High School Theatre Department produces high-quality productions for the South Lake County community.

We have the privilege of offering a multitude of courses for our students to thrive in the performing arts. Our Musical Theatre class produces our mainstage musicals, such as 9 TO 5: THE MUSICAL, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, Disney’s THE LITTLE MERMAID, and LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, while our Improv Troup produces comedy shows in our Blackbox Theater, “Santo’s Barn Theater.”
Sets, props, lights, and sound are created & managed by our Technical Theatre: Set Design & Production classes. We also offer Pre-AP classes in dance and theatre, as well as advanced acting courses. Some of our non-musical productions have open auditions for currently enrolled students.
Seating nearly 500 guests, the East Ridge High Auditorium is the home to many large musicals each year. Most shows are created for Mainstage by the collaborative teamwork of Musical Theatre and Technical Theatre classes.

Mainstage
With seating available for 50 guests, our Blackbox Theater provides actors and audience members an up-close and often, interactive experience with the show.
Barn shows are usually organized by the Theatre classes, and are typically straight plays - but as of recently, our Knights of Comedy group have taken up residence in the Barn to bring you some of the funniest comedy out there; Improv!
